First blog post=boring

I figured for my first blog I should introduce myself and tell you all a little about me. I haven't blogged in a very long time so bear with me here.

My name is Sharice. I'm 22 and have lived in Texas for all 22 of those years. I don't know if I'll ever be able to leave this place and stay away. I just got out of a 2 year long distance relationship in which the guy was cheating on me (big dramatic story full of back stabbing and heartbreak that I'm not interested in retelling) Luckily, I had an epiphany in which I realized that I was never truly happy with this.. guy (his man card was recently revoked) and that I had stopped really living in order to please him.

I'm basically just your average girl next door. Well, not average. I've never met anyone like me. I guess you could call me a metal head, hippy, stoner, geeky, girly tomboy. I haven't ever gotten along with women very well so most of my friends are guys. They're just so much easier to deal with for the most part.

I'm brutally honest and can be quite sarcastic and some people have a problem with that. While I enjoy being protected and treated like a princess I also know how to take care of myself and never shy away from a challenge. I love just hanging out with a good bunch of people and having some drinks and maybe smoking a joint around a fire. I would love to be able to afford to hang out more in downtown Dallas (Deep Ellum area) and enjoy the nightlife as well. I don't care much for any sport besides hockey (Dallas Stars!!) but I will watch pretty much anything without complaining as long as the company is good. I'm into all kinds of music from reggae to metal with a bit of everything in between. I'm a very laid back individual who's just looking to enjoy life. If you can't just sit back and relax and take me as I am then don't bother talking to me. I'm don't do drama and I don't appreciate drama being brought to me.

I'm currently working a dead end job at a local hockey rink but I'm sick of living paycheck to paycheck and plan on finding a way to go back to school as soon as possible. I hope to one day open my own coffee shop/bar/restaurant with a group of close friends. I want it to be a place that you can come and relax and have good conversation and feel almost like you're at home.

I don't really know what else to say about myself. I'm always open to questions being asked so feel free to ask.
